Managing Job Lists & Projects in SupportFinity

Updated this week

In SupportFinity, every job belongs to a List.

A List can represent a project, department, hiring initiative, or business unit. This structure helps companies organize hiring activities clearly while maintaining privacy between teams.

This article explains:

  • What Lists (Projects) are

  • How they control visibility

  • How to create and manage them

  • How to add jobs to a list

  • How to move a job from one list to another

What Are Lists (Projects)?

A List in SupportFinity is a container for jobs.

It can represent:

  • A department (e.g., Engineering, Sales)

  • A hiring campaign (e.g., Q1 Expansion Hiring)

  • A confidential initiative

  • A regional hiring project

Each list is visible only to selected team members inside your company.

This ensures:

  • Departments cannot see each other’s jobs unless granted access

  • Hiring remains organized and isolated

  • Sensitive roles stay confidential

Lists provide structured access control and clean organization.

Editing a List (Project Name)

To edit a list:

  1. Go to the Lists section

  2. Locate the list you want to modify

  3. Click on the list to edit its details

  4. Update the name or settings as needed

You can manage team visibility and keep the project aligned with your hiring structure.

Adding Jobs to a List

To add a job directly to a specific list:

  1. Locate the list title

  2. Click on the three dots next to the list name

  3. Select Add New Job to This List

  4. Complete the job creation process

The job will automatically belong to that list (project).

You can add as many jobs as needed within a list.

Moving a Job to Another List

If you need to move a job from one list to another:

  1. Open the job you want to move

  2. Click on the three dots (job options menu)

  3. Select Move to Another List

  4. Choose the destination list

  5. Confirm

The job will now belong to the selected list.

This is useful when:

  • Reorganizing departments

  • Shifting ownership

  • Restructuring hiring initiatives

  • Moving a role into a confidential project
