Access a Candidate Profile After a Job Post Expires

Updated this week

Candidate data is never lost inside SupportFinity.

You can always access candidates who previously applied to one or more of your jobs. Below are the two easiest ways to find and review a candidate profile.

Method 1: Access from the People Module (Full Profile & Complete History)

Use this method when you want to view all details about the candidate, including their full profile and complete interaction history across your company.

Steps:

  1. Go to People → My Company

  2. Click Filter

  3. Search using any available field (name, email, job title, applied job, etc.)

  4. Click Apply

  5. Locate the candidate and click on their profile

From here, you will see:

  • Full candidate profile

  • Resume and contact information

  • Application history across all jobs

  • Campaign engagement

  • Notes and internal feedback

  • Complete candidate activity timeline

This method gives you a holistic, company-wide view of the candidate.

Method 2: Access from the Jobs Module (Job-Specific History)

Use this method when you want to review the candidate’s activity related to a specific job.

Steps:

  1. Click on Jobs

  2. Locate the job the candidate previously applied to

  3. Open the job to access the Job Dashboard

  4. Use Filter or Quick AI Search to find the candidate

Inside the job dashboard, you can review:

  • Application stage

  • Evaluation notes

  • Interview feedback

  • Status changes

  • Job-specific communication

This method provides a focused, role-based view of the candidate’s journey for that particular job.

Best Practice Tip

If you are unsure which job the candidate applied to, start with the People module. It provides the most comprehensive overview and allows you to navigate to specific jobs directly from the candidate profile.

SupportFinity ensures that even when job posts expire, your talent data remains fully accessible — so you can re-engage strong candidates, revisit previous applicants, and accelerate future hiring decisions without starting from scratch.
